En Alemania, las familias eran muy “hogareñas”: se pasaban gran parte del día en
ella entresemana y hacían muchas actividades juntas. Tenían generalmente casas
muy grandes y unifamiliares, ya que vivían en pueblos y hay más espacio para vivir.
En la mayoría de casas había jardines repletos de plantas y flores.
Los horarios eran agobiantes, los tenían muy planificados y ajustados.
Se levantaban sobre las 6:30 y se acostaban a las 10 de la noche.
Desayunaban nada mas levantarse, sobre las 13:00 comían y a las 18:30 cenaban.
Nos costó un poco acostumbrarnos a los horarios de comidas. Su comida era menos
variada que en España pero eso no significa que menos buena,
Había sobretodo patatas y carne. Su bebida preferida, el agua con gas, a la que echaban
de todo para conseguir cada persona su sabor preferido.
Cocinaban con aceite de girasol o mantequilla ya que allí es muy caro el aceite de oliva.
La basura, la sacaban un día determinado de la semana, en el que pasaba un camión
para recogerla.
Alomejor es muy diferente de cómo vivimos en España, nos ha gustado mucho su forma
de vivir, la comida y las costumbres de allí. Nos han tratado muy bien todas las familias,

In Germany, the families were very “stay-at-homelike”: they stayed the most part of the
week in their houses and they practiced a lot of things together. They had generally big
houses, because they live on a village and there is a lot of space to live. In some houses
there were gardens fully repleted with flowers and plants.
Their schedules were too overwhelming; they had it very planificated and adjusted.
They woke up at 6:30 in the morning and they went to bed at 10 o‘clock.
They had breakfast after they woke up, at 13:00 they had lunch and at 18:30 they had
dinner. We finally get used to the schedule with effort. Their food was less variated than
in Spain, but not worse, there were a lot of potatoes and meat. Their favourite drink,
sparkling water, which they drop anything to create their favourite taste.
They cooked with sunflower oil or butter because the olive oil is very expensive there.
They take out the trash once a week, that day a truck carry out the trash of all the
neighbourhood .
Maybe it’s very different that in Spain, but we liked it a lot their living and food.
